The paintings were stolen from the Magnani Rocca Foundation, a private art collection near Parma in northern Italy, on the night of March 22-23, reports Corriere della Sera.

The stolen works were Auguste Renoir's "Les poissons", Henri Matisse's "Odalisque sur la terrasse" and Paul Cézanne's "Natura morta con ciliegie".

No one has been arrested, but the four masked thieves were caught on surveillance cameras.

Corrected: In a previous version, there was an incorrect geographical description regarding where in Italy Parma is located.
