Pressure has increased on the red-green side to unite ahead of the election following the Liberals' new SD line, according to V leader Nooshi Dadgostar.
The risk is that the opposition side will end up at a disadvantage given how they have formed themselves, she says in Ekot's Saturday interview.
V therefore invites C to talks, similar to those recently held between the Liberals and the Sweden Democrats.
During the week, I sent a letter to Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist, the Center Party's leader, to initiate a "keep Sweden together pledge", so that we can also sit down and discuss the challenges ahead together, says Dadgostar in the Saturday interview.
V has said that after the election, they will not support a government in which they themselves are not a member. At the same time, C says no to a government with V.
Even though the parties are far apart in tax policy, for example, Dadgostar sees that they can agree on other areas, such as sparsely populated areas and climate policy.
However, C leader Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist rejects the invitation and says that she sees the letter "more as a political game than a serious invitation."
"There are many ways forward without the Left Party in government," she writes in a comment to Ekot.
"Our focus is on all the unemployed, not on giving Dadgostar ministerial posts. The only party that wants the Left Party in government is the Left Party," she adds.
