The situation has been tense, says Kalmar's security manager Johan Åslund to Expressen.
The quarter-final series in the HockeyAllsvenskan between Kalmar and Södertälje has made headlines both on and off the ice. Threats and harassment against players led to police protection at the hotel in Södertälje ahead of Wednesday's match.
Kalmar has filed at least one police report after threats against George Diaco - who celebrated in front of the Södertälje fans after a goal in the second match.
He did not play in Wednesday's match, which Södertälje won 3-2, thus forcing a seventh and decisive match in the quarter-final series.
