Nyberg, who is a police officer by training, has left her party, the Social Democrats, after she was suspected last year of driving under the influence of drugs, accusations she denies.
In January, the Swedish Transport Agency revoked her driver's license after the agency said tests showed drugs in her blood. No charges have been filed yet. According to Nyberg, the blood test showed a metabolite, a breakdown product, but not the narcotic substance.
When a driver's license is revoked, driving a car is prohibited. The prosecutor is investigating it as serious illegal driving.
Nyberg tells Epoch Times that she moved the car in connection with street cleaning.
It was wrong of me, and I take responsibility for it.
