Two people were reportedly injured in Saratov in southwestern Russia when drones or debris damaged several houses, regional governor Roman Busargin said. Around 90 drones were reportedly shot down over Rostov, regional governor Yuri Slyusar said on Telegram. Moscow's mayor said 27 drones were shot down on their way to the capital.
In Zaporizhia in southeastern Ukraine, a man and a woman were killed in a Russian drone strike on Saturday morning, the region's military commander Ivan Fedorov said. Two children were also injured when the drone hit a private home.
According to Ukrainian media, Ukraine and the United States are to meet in Miami on Saturday for talks about the war.
