In Odesa, two people have been killed and about ten injured in drone attacks on civilian infrastructure, local authorities said, according to AFP.
Among other things, a maternity clinic was hit. However, staff and patients had taken refuge in a shelter before the attack.
"There was no military purpose at all - this was pure terror against ordinary civilian life," President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on X.
Residential buildings and educational institutions in Odesa were also reportedly hit. Among the injured is at least one child.
In Zelenskyy's hometown of Kryvyi Rih, one person has been killed in a Russian attack, Dnipropetrovsk military chief Oleksandr Hanzha said on Telegram. A fourth death was reported from Poltava.
