It's perhaps a bit unexpected with "The Duck" and Samuel Fröler here. They're a bit different, but both are very serious in everything they do.

The knight's clothes have been tried on and God's five-meter-long foot has been brought out of storage, as has the large cloth cow that will fly across the stage.

It's a long way until the premiere on September 25, but the nervousness is already there.

For the director himself, the question is: Can the success from 2010 be repeated? Then it was sold out, first in Malmö and then Stockholm, then on to both Oslo and Copenhagen.

"Upside down"

The plot, which is based on the medieval legend of King Arthur, is taken from the film "Monty Python and the Holy Grail".

Samuel Fröler is pleased to be playing king for the first time in his long professional life.

It's such an anarchic humor, it's upside down. You bounce every time you see it, because it's so totally different and so insanely funny.

At his side he has the squire and servant Patsy, played by Kim Sulocki, who carries the king's pack and uses coconut shells to simulate the sound of horse hooves when they go for a ride.

Thinking about singing lessons

The knights are played by Morgan Alling, Fredrik Lexfors, David Sigfridsson and Anders “Ankan” Johansson. The latter will practice singing during the summer, maybe even take lessons, he promises. Isn’t he good at singing?

No, I'm not, but I sing the right notes. In some musicals, that's enough. That's why I get to be in musicals where it doesn't fit with Tommy Körberg.

Anki Albertsson is back in the role of Lady of the Lake, a role she took over in the last round, when the representative Nina Söderquist dropped out due to her pregnancy. For her, Monty Python's world is "very much childhood".

It's in your heart somewhere, she says.
