Heat pump manufacturer Nibe, up 6 percent, topped the OMXS30 list of most-traded stocks. Telecom operator Telia rose 2.4 percent and telecom manufacturer Ericsson 2.1 percent.
Nordea was the worst performer, down 2.3 percent. Similarly, interest-pressured industry peers Handelsbanken, Swedbank and SEB fell 0.1 to 0.4 percent.
Trading fluctuated around the zero line after difficult-to-assess statements about the Iran war were released.
The price of oil rose just over 4 percent, to $104 a barrel for North Sea oil.
At the close in Stockholm, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange was down, but London and Paris were up. In New York, two of the three major indexes were down.
