The police have handled a fatal accident in connection with tree felling during the day. A person, a 60-year-old man, has died after being hit by a tree in Hållnäs in Tierps municipality.

Next of kin have been informed.

Out of consideration for next of kin, the police cannot at present provide any further information about the incident.

The police suspect no crime.
