It was during a performance of the musical "Moulin Rouge" that Megan Thee Stallion had to interrupt her performance and leave the stage.
"Megan began to feel very sick and was quickly taken to a nearby hospital, where her symptoms are now being investigated," her spokesperson said in a statement to U.S. media.
Megan Thee Stallion is best known for her hit songs “Savage,” “Wap,” and “Body.” In 2021, she won three Grammys and the following year she was nominated for Album of the Year.
The role of Zidler in “Moulin Rouge” is Megan Thee Stallion's Broadway debut.
