Housing prices rose by 1.7 percent in March compared to February, nationwide, according to SBAB Booli's monthly housing index.
But, adjusted for normal seasonal patterns, the increase remains at 0.3 percent.
"House prices rose significantly more than apartment prices. The war in the Middle East does not seem to have had a major negative impact on the housing market so far," says SBAB's chief economist Robert Boije in a written comment.
But, if inflation and interest rates rise, which they have already done to some extent, there could be a different development going forward.
"Then it is likely that housing prices may weaken significantly in the future," he says.
