Bruce Springsteen has promised that the tour will be his most political yet, and it was noticeable during the premiere. "The Boss" made several attacks on Donald Trump and began the concert with a cover of Edwin Starr's anti-war classic "War."
"Our American values, which we have lived by for 250 years, are being challenged like never before. Our young men and women are risking their lives in an unconstitutional and illegal war," Springsteen said, among other things.
"It's happening here and now," Springsteen shouted repeatedly during a list of what he considers to be abuses under Trump's rule.
