Among other things, interrogations and the examination of telephone material are ongoing.
The suspected crimes are said to have occurred in Skåne County in 2023. The same year, an investigation into sexual crimes against children was opened and later closed. In 2024, it was reopened after a new report was received, and after almost three years of investigation, a woman was arrested.
The woman, who is in her 30s, was arrested on March 6, Norra Skåne reported. She denies the crime.
The prosecutor says the suspected perpetrator stands out, as women are underrepresented in cases like this.
"Of course it's unusual," Holmberg tells TV4.
