The meeting - which has not been confirmed by the White House - will, according to Zelenskyy, discuss the US decision to ease sanctions against the Russian energy sector, as well as seek clarity on the next round of trilateral talks.
"We want clear dates, at least approximate ones. Everyone understands the situation in the Middle East," Zelenskyy said.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has previously said that no talks are on the table as long as the war continues.
On Thursday, Peskov said, according to the Kremlin-loyal Izvestia, that Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev "continues his work, the trilateral group is on a break."
